Employer Branding – BILLA, FONTANA, and DEUTSCHMANN

Nowadays, employer branding is one of the key tools for companies that want to attract talented employees and build a strong corporate culture. Generations Brand Consulting helps companies not only build a strong brand for customers, but also create an attractive employer image that attracts talent, improves employee engagement, and increases loyalty.

Let’s look at some successful examples of employer branding that we’ve done for our clients.

BILLA – SiBILLA Application

It is extremely challenging to be the preferred employer choice if you are not a market leader. You have to be even more creative. That is why we developed the SiBILLA application, which Billa could use as part of its employer branding. This application served as a modern tool to predict which job position at Billa is most suitable for candidates. Applicants could interactively answer various questions and discover where they would best fit within the company. SiBILLA not only simplified the recruitment process but primarily created a positive brand experience for candidates through a playful approach.

FONTANA – Make the Cut

As part of its positioning and the launch of a new claim on the market – Make the Cut, FONTANA also introduced a new recruitment advertisement, “Make a decisive cut in your career.” This campaign targeted ambitious individuals who want to change their careers and work for a dynamic and innovative company that ranks among the largest European manufacturers of agricultural knives worldwide. Moving from the original and generic claim “We support your needs,” FONTANA shifted to the more confident “Make the Cut” – an English idiom that implies succeeding in the world with our products, because we are elite in what we manufacture. We are looking for employees who share this mindset and would be proud to represent our company. The advertisement combined a new creative visual style with a clear message – if you want to change something, take the decisive step.

Deutschmann International Shipping – Moving the world for the better

Deutschmann really has an exceptional CEO who does not want generic messages and campaigns but prefers a direct, clear, and understandable approach – which is why in the campaign we moved away from the originally intended headline – Everyone has the opportunity to work for Deutschmann, which is true but not particularly exceptional or motivating compared to others. The message is much more targeted and inclusive in the case of the Roma employee – Here it doesn’t matter what you look like, but who you are.

Confident, direct, and truthful. Emphasizing that the company hires people without prejudice and seeks talents defined by their abilities, not appearance. This approach not only promotes diversity within teams but also strengthens a corporate culture based on equality and respect.

At Generations Brand Consulting, we approach clients and campaigns individually and based on our years-built and already proven process. No client receives clichés or generic output from us.

Our work is proof that employer branding is more than just a campaign – it’s building an employer brand based on thorough analysis, which allows us to say what the client really needs. It’s not about randomly hitting upon a creative idea based on a brief, but a creative Brand idea within a Brand feasibility study that reflects the true essence of the company, its corporate culture, and the values that employees feel and appreciate.
