ESG - S for Social

Záleží nám – Social

What is ESG?

The acronym ESG stands for the three main factors that influence a company’s sustainability. But what exactly does it mean? A company’s impact on the environment, the company and the way it is run, which can be used to quantify a company’s “sustainability” or “responsibility”. It is the method by which companies formulate their sustainable business strategies and effectively meet their targets.

Social factor (“S”)

focuses on how the business engages with the communities in which it operates. It also examines internal policies relating to, for example, inclusion, the company’s relationships with employees, customers and other stakeholders. Workplace health and safety, product safety and quality, and consumer protection are other of the many social indicators that are taken into account.
