Wanda Adamík Hrycová: Each new project teaches me humility

Wanda Adamík Hrycová is probably the most important film producer in Slovakia. The formation of her personality and career began with her teenage years at Radio Twist and, at the incredibly young age of 23, while managing the Nova Scéna theatre. In 2007, Wanda Adamík Hrycová founded her own production company , Wandal Production.

The podcast was created shortly before the death of her father – the important Slovak actor Andy Hryc (honour to his memory). The interview is also about him, their relationship and the influence on Wanda, her family, and the society we live in. The interview is different in this context than the others. It is personal, vivid, sad, but also joyful, ordinary and, in the end, extraordinary. We talk together:

  • about the journey that makes Wanda who she is,
  • on the topic of working with her personal brand,
  • about working with the best,
  • on the need for quality education,
  • also about how he perceives Slovakia – as a brand and as a country.

We wish you pleasant listening.
